Koyama Ramen Shop visit

This evening my friends and I ventured to Sobudai-mae for dinner at the Koyama family ramen shop. Not only was the food great, but everyone was really friendly even before they discovered we were News and Koyama fans. So this is a brief report and some pics about our evening.

It was quite a memorable evening ...Collapse )

That's so cute! ♥ I plan on going there when I'm in Japan from end of Jan til end of Feb. I'll probably bring some presents or something. Idk. Haven't really thought about it but I definitely want to visit the shop.

It was definitely a highlight of my trip. And from what I understand they don't accept presents, only the phonestraps for the wall map. But having something from your home is definitely a good way to say hello, say thank you and identify yourself as a fan.

Okay sorry but what time did you guys go? I don't want to go during a busy time.. as well as the day?

I don't really know. We just got there a little while after they opened. They're open Monday to Saturday from 7pm but you might want to find out from other fan experiences about busy times. Though by the time we left, after 9pm things did seem to be getting a bit busier.

That was cool! So his mother can speak english? Or you can speak japanese too? I was thinking of stopping by his ramen shop too when me and my friend go to japan as a graduation gift for ourselves but we can't speak japanese and more than likely we'll get lost soo..we can only read from other fan's experience. lol

She speaks a little bit of English, we speak a bit of Japanese and we were just lucky that the other girls were there who had English to help us both out.
